seems in control

so, i finished all of the christmas shopping yesterday. we only have one present left to get, and we don't have that because we have not been able to get any ideas for what my cousin wants for christmas. it's for the exchange at grandma's house. so, once we know hopefully that will be a quick one-stop. leeser spent half the day wrapping everything up. so even that is done.

something i am even more excited about is the packing. all of my clothes are chosen and packed and clean. and it's three whole days before we are leaving. this is huge burden off my back. i usually have to wait till the last minute because i'm not exactly sure what i will want to wear or it's not clean or something. this time, i just washed what i wanted and picked out stuff and stuck with my decisions. i folded it all up nicely and zipped up my bag, done.

the cleaning of the house is on it's way. we can finish up a few more things tonight and tomorrow, then we are ready. let's just hope that the weather holds out. of course there is supposed to be rain and freezing rain and snow the night we are planning to travel. typical.
