well, it has been a few days since the election. i am so pleased that my phone is not ringing each evening from 4 till 9, and i am also glad that trees aren't dying to send me high-gloss, high-color political fliers. besides all that, what a turn our nation has taken! i won't go on and on, but i am feeling very hopeful about good changes that might materialized with the swing toward the donkey. that's all i will say for now.
i don't have too much to report on, since i spend the weekend alone and didn't get out of my pajamas much. this was fine with me. it was nice to relax my aching back after having to deal with 12 inches of wet heavy snow on friday. lucky for us, the friggin' snowblower is in the shop getting fixed. i'll stop there on the snowblower, i feel i ranted about it enough last year when it wasn't working.
i hope everyone had a nice weekend. have an excellent monday too.
p.s. my dad gets a new hip on wednesday, so if everyone could send good thoughts.....
