got back yesterday and right back into a monday of work. nobody likes that after a week off. nobody really likes painting a house either, but i'm happy to report that it is all done. all dad has left to do by himself is the trim, and he can putter on that. next month new windows go in. everything turned out pretty good, but we all got pooped out. and as usual, i ran out of time to do everything and see everyone that needed to be seen.
i was able to go out for a beer with a high school pal who makes me feel very old and very behind in life. she just found out she is pregnant with her fourth child. i was astounded, amazed, slack-jawed. who can afford these kinds of investments? 4 children. wow. but, good for you stace', go get 'em. and if this one is a girl, we'll take her huh? ha ha.
now, on to golf. i am happy to report that i got my first par tonight. it was a par 4 long hole too. so, good for painty. that's about it. i'm pretty pooped.

p.s. i got my first rejection letter on one of the jobs i applied for. 4 left to hold out hope. fingers-crossed!
