they did it

well, it happened. they took away the internet at work. i guess there have been rumors and swirlings for years now. but, finally it has happened. no more reading blogs, or educating myself on eastern religions or reading the news online. i don't know what to say about it quite yet. i'm not exactly how far behind i'll fall on blogging, flickr, etc. we'll see.

my grandma is having back surgery tomorrow. so everyone keep her in your thoughts and prayers. also, send vibes for steady hands to the surgeons. she is having a ruptured disk that has been giving her great pains fixed. they are also going to fix up her stenosis as well. i am hoping for the best possible result for her.

that's about it for now. it's my bed time. my shirt is ironed, my lunch is packed (thanks, babe). so i'm off to dreamland.

hope all is well where you are.

No internet? So how are you supposed to send work-related emails? You're not supposed to (gasp) call people, are you?

ah, well, luckily we can still send and receive email on the "intranet" rather than the internet. so, we can access the web or anything fun, but we can still do human resources stuff, and get junk email from supervisors, etc.
