well, after some deliberation i have decided to venture across the great state of wisconsin alone to meet my niece for the first time. i have to leave my family at home, unfortunately. although i feel very guilty about leaving my wife alone for the new year, i couldn't waste the opportunity for a 4 day weekend. curse her crappy work schedule.
anyway, i'm not sure if i'll be able to do any updating while at my sister's house, but i'll be sure to take plenty of photos to post upon my return. i am even taking the "good" camera AND the tripod. let's see if i can't prove that this little pee-nit does in fact have eyes.
wish me luck since it is a 4+ hour drive and i do hate driving, i hate it so very much. i sure hope this baby is cute, maybe she'll make the 250 miles seem shorter... probably not, but i'd like to hope.
