haven't written much lately. not much to say. my friend stella has been staying with us for a few nights. her husband had to have triple by-pass surgery, so he's here at mayo. it's been fun to catch up with her....but everyone knows what it's like to have a guest in their house. although stella is no trouble at all, life just isn't normal, ya know?
survived a co-workers wedding. it was ok, but i reaffirmed my thoughts about why we are planning the kind of wedding we are planning. she had somewhere around 300 people there; i didn't even get to speak to the bride or meet her husband. that's definately not the kind of shindig i'm down with.
working today, then planning on watching the fireworks from my driveway and enjoying a few beers. how lucky are we? don't need to go anywhere, just sit outside and see the show. people watching after, is even more fun.

p.s. i got some new kelly green chuck taylors with my allowance money. i love them!
