done with work

well, i put my slides into the hot oven, so i'm just waiting for the time to pass until i can take them out and go home for the start of my much needed and certainly deserved 2 days off. seems like i have been spending a lot of time in the old laboratory, but as we all know weddings cost a lot of money, and i'm havin' one in a few short months.

know what else costs a lot of money? 6' PRIVACY FENCES! cripes. the neighbors are taking down their chain-link fence which we were using as the back boundary of our yard for two little puppy dogs. so i am very, very sad to report that the 'hot-tub fund' has promptly been redirected to the 'fence fund'. what a bummer. because although no one NEEDS a hot-tub, sitting in one with friends or lovers (or friends and lovers) while looking at the stars and tossing back a few chilled adult beverages cannot be beaten. well, i submit that it cannot be beaten. anyway, i'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news (because save a few new york and michigan readers, all of you would have wanted to soak your miserable bums in it). oh well, maybe next year.

speaking of other readers, i think everyone that thinks these blogs are ready for publication by the JAMA or friggin' national geographics can get bent. blogs are for blogging, not spelling shit right or writing an english paper or dotting i's and crossing t's. people that feel the need to make comments on spelling and grammar inside someone else's blog should really consider getting a life or a blog of their own.
