the unthinkable

the first unthinkable thing, really is very thinkable for me. i love sweet and savory things mixed together. like the nutroll? what an invention, sweet nugat-ey center and salty crunchy peanuts laced with caramel. who can resist that? now those 3 items on their own: mediocre at best. put them together and you have taste sensation spanning all the taste sensors on your tongue. the love of my life hates them.

she also cringes every time we get bagels from the shop. i always, always choose a sweet bagel (usually cranberry-orange) then slap a definately savory cream cheese on it, like our current favorite green olive pimento or something even something like jalepeno or crushed garlic. does anyone else do this?

so the unthinkable for leeser was the aforementioned cranberry-orange bagel complete with the olive cream cheese then to make matters exponentially worse (or tastier for me) was a dab of homemade (not by us) cran-apple butter. very tangy. i found this combination delicious and it spanned even more tastebuds. yummy. food is all about tongue stimulation, i reckon. the more zing and zang and compliments and tastes, the better i say.

anyone else agree?

i'll post more unthinkables tomorrow.

Cranberry-orange bagel? The New Yorker in me wants to scream.

Olive cream cheese? Oh yum.
