saturday morning

so, i am feeling very, very old and worried at the moment. it's about 8a.m. on a saturday morning, i have absolutely no plans, yet i am awake, showered, dressed and ready to start the day. what is the matter with me? i've never ever had to worrry about whether or not the places i wanted to go shopping at or where i needed to run errands would actually be open or not...strange feelling. anyone know what time fleet farm opens??

i guess i am slightly excited too because i am starting my 'new bike' shopping today. i have to try to get it done before the steady-level-headed money person returns home. i have decided to find myself a cruiser bike for this season. last year i biked to work a fair bit and tried to get into biking around town since we've got really nice bike paths that can get you essentially anywhere. but, i think maybe i was too worried about my nice cannondale mountain bike getting ripped off or at least having pieces stolen because it has quick-release everything.

so, my solution is a single-speed coaster-break cruiser. we'll see how it all goes. wish me luck!
